The Role:

Elusav recruitment have a very exciting opportunity for a BID Editor to join one of Europe's leading Engineering contractors on a large construction project in Dublin, Ireland.

The Bid Editor will play a crucial role in crafting, refining, and presenting winning proposals that showcase the company capabilities. This individual will collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and bid managers to produce high-quality submissions that effectively communicate our technical solutions and align with client specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality proposal documents, coordinating and crafting content that clearly communicates the company’s value propositions. Collaborate with technical experts and project teams to devise tailored responses that address client requirements.
  • Write, review, and edit technical copy to ensure it is persuasive, client-focused, and aligned with the company’s corporate brand guidelines and bid management standards.
  • Analyze tender requirements to ensure proposals address all questions in a compelling, accurate manner. Ensure responses reflect the company’s values, vision, and culture.
  • Ensure all proposals maintain consistency with the company’s branding and quality standards, presenting our solutions professionally and cohesively.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to craft bespoke, technically sound responses for each bid, incorporating insights on construction methodologies, innovation, digital project delivery, health and safety (HSE), sustainability, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Interview employees at all levels to capture unique perspectives on how the company adds value for clients, translating these insights into compelling proposal content.
  • Build and maintain the company’s library of case studies, templates, and CVs, ensuring up-to-date, high-quality content is accessible for future bids.
  • Manage tender queries, track bid decisions, and input relevant data into the company’s bid management platform to drive insights and improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience in construction or engineering industries (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (desirable).
  • Understanding of corporate procedures and large organizational structures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and persuasively.
