Your privacy, our promise

At Elusav Recruitment your right to privacy is of paramount importance to us. We commit to following all principles and guidelines outlined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) effective May 25th 2018. The GDPR is designed to protect individuals and their personal data.

As such, we want you, the ‘data subject’, to understand how we collect, use, share and store personal data; as well as your rights in respect to this. Please review this policy and please note that we reserve the right to update this policy as deemed necessary or as required by law.

Your security, our priority

Our security procedures protect data from being misused, misplaced, or accessed, changed or disclosed by unauthorised people.

Your data can only be accessed by authorised persons in order to provide you with recruitment and recruitment-related services.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We would normally retain data on our database for a period of three years, in order to allow us to provide you with a quality ongoing recruitment service. However, you can request removal of your data at any time.

What kind of Data does this document refer to?

Elusav Recruitment collects, uses, shares and stores two categories of data: non-personal data and personal data.

1- Non-personal Data

Non-Personal Data cannot be used to identify or contact you. It can include:

•  Statistical information about visitors to website

•  Demographic information

•  Browser types

This data may be derived from your personal data, but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.

2- Personal Data

Personal data can be used to identify or contact you. It may include the following:

•  Identity data such as first and last name

•  Contact data such as address and phone number

•  Data pertaining to your Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) including your work experience and qualifications

•  Data pertaining to your recruitment activity through interactions with Elusav Recruitment, such as notes from meetings or calls with you, information about positions you have been put forward for, interview feedback and so forth

•  Third party reference information

•  Results from assessment tests, such as psychometric tests, taken whilst engaged in recruitment activity with Elusav Recruitment

•  Technical Data such as internet protocol (IP) address, login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website

•  Any other data related to recruitment activity with Elusav Recruitment

Who will collect your Data?

Your personal data will only be collected by Elusav Recruitment and will be collected with the purpose of providing you with our services.

Elusav Recruitment is a technical recruitment consultancy that focuses on providing recruitment services for the Engineering, Life Science and Construction industries, predominately in Ireland but also worldwide. We recruit for, and place, candidates with numerous organisations in what typically are Engineering, Life Science and Construction related positions.

How will your Data be collected?

Elusav Recruitment collects personal data directly from you, when you:

•  Correspond directly with Elusav Recruitment by phone, letter, email, social media or otherwise

•  Supply a CV or other form of application to us. This may be via third party websites such as LinkedIn, IrishJobs, Indeed where Elusav Recruitment is listed as the employer

•  Submit any information in connection with an application. This can be via third party websites such as LinkedIn, IrishJobs, Indeed where Elusav Recruitment is listed as the employer

•  Subscribe to email updates

•  Complete psychometric assessments

We would also collect personal data from third parties, which may include:

•  Professional references from previous employers

•  Results of assessments or tests e.g. psychometric or competency tests

•  Subjective feedback on performance from companies who you interview with through Elusav Recruitment

If collecting information from a third party, we will seek your consent or otherwise make you aware of the collection and the reasons for it.

How will your Data be stored?

Elusav Recruitment will store your data in our internal CRM system – Job Adder, which is accessible only by our recruitment team and is Password protected.. Our use of this system ensures that your data is securely stored.

If you apply for a role via our website, a copy of your application and CV will be automatically stored by Webflow. This is only retained until your application is processed. Any applications stored on our website are deleted every 2 weeks. This ensures the security of your data by storing it in as few places as possible.

Elusav Recruitment will take all appropriate technical and organisational steps to safeguard your personal data. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will contact you in line with our legal obligations.

What will we do with your Data?

Elusav Recruitment may use and disclose your personal data for the following reasons:

•  To provide recruitment services to you and to facilitate the recruitment process

•  To assess data about you against vacancies which we judge may be suitable for you

•  To send your information to clients in order to apply for jobs or to assess your eligibility for jobs

•  To deliver excellent customer service to you by answering any questions or enquiries you may have

•  To contact you on occasion with information regarding career opportunities, or suggestions and recommendations about goods or services that may be of interest to you

Elusav Recruitment may also disclose your personal data to third parties where relevant such as the following:

•  Prospective employers and third parties such as professional referees

•  Other parties involved in the supply of personnel

•  Professional associations, registration bodies or regulatory or law enforcement agencies if required.

Unless required or permitted to do so by law, Elusav Recruitment will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of your personal data without your consent.

Your Rights:

Under the GDPR, as a data subject, you will have the following rights as outlined below. However, restrictions may apply in certain situations.

How can you exercise your rights as a Data subject?

Email our Data Protection Champion, Anuroop Raveendran – anuroop@elusav.com with the right you wish to exercise in the subject line. Please be aware that you may be asked for a proof of identity, which will not be kept after processing your request. We may also need to ask for more information about your request to process it. This is to protect your data and ensure that we are not releasing/amending or deleting them on false premises.

Under the GDPR we have 30 days to comply with your request unless we have a legal obligation preventing us to do so; in which case we will share that reason with you.

You may request access to any personal data Elusav Recruitment holds about you.

2- Keeping your personal Data up to date

To ensure that your personal data is accurate, complete and up to date, please alert Elusav of any changes to your details. Alternatively, we may contact you from time to time.

3- Requesting removal of your Data from our database

You may get in touch with us at any time to request your data to be removed from our database.

Transferring out of the EEA

If we need to transfer your data outside the EEA, we will alert you and explain clearly why we’re doing it. This will only occur in relation to recruitment or related services provided by Elusav Recruitment. Generally, we operate within the EEA.

Website Security

Our website issues cookies to your computer. Most browsers allow cookies to be turned off but doing so may restrict use of our site.

If linked by Elusav Recruitment to another website, Elusav Recruitment cannot accept responsibility for differing data privacy practices.
