The Role:
Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a CSA Construction Manager with one of the most reputable and largest Engineering contractors in Europe.
The CSA Construction Manager will join a large scale project, based in Munich, Germany, and will be responsible for managing the co-ordination of all CSA, MECH and ELEC work packages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Management of Site Safety in conjunction with Safety Advisor, including set up, management of and closing out of file.
- Management of Site QA in conjunction with Project Manager and team including set up, management and close out of file.
- Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect to Engineering and Client requirements
- Management of all costs associated with Project with the support of the project QS.
- Management of all day to day site operations.
- Direct management of Engineering project team including alignment of all discipline leads to the benefit of project goals.
- Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub-contractor.
- Management of the “In Progress” snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.
- Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
- Drive the Engineering culture of safety and quality through the project.
- Provide the safety and quality leadership required on all projects.
- Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, and delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage.
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings.
- Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
- Issue Daily Report to the Project Manager.
- Issue weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
- Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
- Develop and implement company procedures with the Project Managers.
- Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
- Review drawings and setting out details.
- Produce builders works drawings for services.
- Carry out distribute & close out CSA snags.
- All other duties associated with this role.
Job Requirements:
- Good strong working knowledge of CSA Construction process.
- 5 years experience as a CSA Construction Manager/ Supervisor.
- Trade background or third level education in a relevant engineering/ construction background.
- German language would be an advantage.
- Proven track record in coordinating and managing large scale projects.
- Data Centre experience would be an advantage.
