The Role:
Elusav Recruitment have a great opportunity for an Electrical Panel Builder with a leading engineering contractor within the wastewater and water treatment industry.
As the Electrical Panel Builder, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of form 2 and form 4 electrical panels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of form 2 and form 4 electrical panels.
- Assist in the design of switchgear assemblies where required.
- Site installation works as required.
- Perform inspections on completed panels.
- Assist with FATs with the client and in-house personnel if required.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in both electrical and mechanical assembly of switchgear panels.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD and E-plan electrical schematics and redline any issues.
- Good knowledge of switchgear and Enclosures.
- Good knowledge of the different forms of separation.
- Meticulous approach to Quality Control.
- Understanding of testing procedures, Such as Insulation resistance testing and appropriate electrical functionality checks would be an advantage.
