The Role:
Elusav Recruitment is currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineering Inspector at a well-established and rapidly growing fire consultancy located in Dublin, Ireland. This consultancy boasts a substantial client base and is actively involved in multi-sector projects, including residential (both public and private), commercial, rail, and Food and Beverage industries.
As a Fire Engineering Inspector you will undertake on site fire inspections, in particular during construction and will be involved in desktop reviews of fire assessment reports; fire strategy reports; fire drawings as well as supporting the fire safety disciplines at JGA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carrying out active and passive fire protection systems review.
- Compliance assessment and understanding of the main British fire safety legislation and standards applied to buildings, such as Approved Document B (ADB), BS9999, BS7974.
- Supporting on the development of Fire Safety Strategy reports for both, the building and public infrastructure sectors.
- Undertaking external facade assessment to meet the requirement of the industry standard such as Form EWS1.
- Supporting on the fee proposals and marketing material preparations.
- Providing in-house CPD presentations when the need arises.
Job Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years working in the similar fire consultancy industry.
- A degree in a relevant engineering field, including Fire Engineering, Building Engineering, Mechanical.
- Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and analysis. Familiarity with engineering design software is advantageous.
