The Role:
Elusav Recruitment has great opportunity for a Service Lead with an industry leading process systems engineering company in the Pharma/Biopharma sector, based in North Cork and about 30 mins outside Limerick. The organisation are part of a larger international group with a turnover of €110 Millions, and have exciting growth plans in Ireland and Mainland Europe.
The Service Lead will join the companies service and maintenance division, and work on refurbishment and upgrade projects across their pharma and food client sites. The role will be based out of charleville, with travel to project sites predominantly in Munster.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of project, process, and mechanical engineers.
- Work closely with clients to meet & manage customer expectations.
- Responsible for design, procurement, construction, and testing activities during the project.
- Work closely with and drive internal teams to deliver on their specific project objective.
- Ensure that the system is delivered on time, within budget, to specification and meeting the highest standards of quality.
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors in satisfying our customers’ expectations.
- A close focus on the commercial effect of project decisions will be important.
- Monitor and report on project progress and identify and manage any risks to the project’s schedule or commercial objectives.
- Review and analyse client specifications in terms of Company’s quotation, scope of supply and commercial items; Review & Manage P&ID’s and control changes.
- Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation.
- Approval of Purchase Requisition Forms for Project Equipment and Components.
- Performing Design Reviews with client/production/mechanical Eng department.
- Generating & Maintaining Project Database and control of Project Documentation.
- Inspecting the mechanical build as it progresses.
- Facilitate project communications and reports.
- Assisting with Incoming Inspection of Project Equipment and Components.
- Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met.
- FAT and Commissioning Support for Projects.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in similar role in related industry.
- BEng in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Mechanical and process engineering experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
