The Role:
Elusav Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Graduate Design Engineer with an industry-leading process systems engineering company for the Pharma/Biopharma sector, based in North Cork, Ireland.
As the Graduate Design Engineer, you will work with the Vessel Design team along with interacting with projects, quality & production departments ensuring we deliver high-quality, technical process solutions to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse client specifications, vessel data sheets & standard operating procedures.
- Generate vessel fabrication drawings & calculations using 3D package Inventor & PV Elite.
- Work closely with production and the quality department ensuring that drawings issued for construction meet the highest standard.
- Generate and maintain vessel material database and control of project documentation.
- Execute internal design reviews with the production & quality department.
- Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met.
- Assist with incoming inspection of project equipment.
- Monitor and report on project progress and identify and manage any risks to the project’s schedule or commercial objectives.
- Quality inspections of equipment.
- In-process inspection during the construction phase.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical or Project Engineering degree or equivalent
- Must have 3D design experience and preferably experience using 3D AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks, college experience is acceptable.
- Must have a strong interest in design and fabrication, welding / folding / bending etc, understanding of how items are fabricated.
